To celebrate the ten year anniversary of the Dutch music TV show Countdown in 1989, members of Golden Earring, Dolly Dots, Het Goede Doel, Frank Boeijen Groep, Wion Ton Ton, Soulsister, The Nits, Normaal, Mai Tai, Mennen, and several others got together to record a cover version of Petula Clark classic 'Downtown'. It became a minor hit in The Netherlands.
